SINGAPORE (November 22, 2023) – Forbes Asia hosted the Best Under A Billion Forum and Awards Dinner 2023 at the Conrad Manila in Manila, the Philippines on November 21, 2023. The Forum and Awards Dinner was held to celebrate and honor the success of companies featured on Forbes Asia’s Best Under A Billion list, which spotlights top-performing small and midsized listed companies in the Asia-Pacific region with annual sales under US$1 billion.

Christopher Forbes, Vice Chairman of Forbes Media and Teresita Sy-Coson, Vice Chairperson of SM Investments Corporation both made welcome remarks to some 430 guests at the Forbes Asia Best Under A Billion Forum and Awards Dinner.
Among the highlights of the event were two panel discussions titled “Scaling Up” and “Path to Excellence”, featuring successful industry leaders from current and past Best Under A Billion companies. They included Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A; Ernesto Tanmantiong, President and CEO of Jollibee Foods Corporation; Vincent Tan, Founder and Advisor of Berjaya Corporation Group of Companies; Cheah Cheng Hye, Co-Chairman and Co-CIO of Value Partners Group; Tandean Rustandy, Founder and CEO of Arwana Citramulia and Mohammad Asif Peer, Group CEO of Systems Limited.
The Best Under A Billion list companies were presented with award plaques by Christopher Forbes, Vice Chairman of Forbes Media and Henry T. Sy, Jr., Vice Chairperson of SM Investments Corporation. In addition, Special Honoree Awards were also presented to notable companies in recognition of outstanding growth and performance.
