Harbour-Link Acquires Land In Lahad Datu

Harbour-Link Group Bhd’s unit, Harbour-Link Logistics Sdn Bhd, has acquired a leasehold vacant lot measuring 3,045.19 acres (1,232.34ha) in Lahad Datu, Phase 3A, Sabah for RM5.09 million from POIC Sabah Sdn Bhd. In an exchange filing last Friday, Harbour-Link noted POIC Sabah is involved in the business of developing palm oil industrial clusters in Lahad Datu.
Harbour-Link added the acquisition is to cater for the expanding shipping and marine division activities of the company.
The land will be used as the container depot and will be owner-occupied or rented to outsiders for future business expansion, it noted.
